“The Cosmic Balance or Order of all things.. Tormented and driven Insane..”

The Circle or Cycle of Creation is: Creation (Dynamism) → Stasis → Entrophy.

  • One might argue that opposing the Triat is Oblivion who only wants Obliteration and Nothing. The Wyrm did not want this but instead was about decay, change and entropy rather than complete, absolute Nothingness.
  • The Wyld creats the basic buliding blocks, Weaver gives them shape, Wyrm destroy thing so that the Wyld could create new things again.

Things got bad when Weaver got overeager. It couldn’t bring stais in to the univers when what it had created was being destroyed. So it traped Wyrm and Wyrm went mad, or started destoying everthing in sight to destroy it’s prison.Depending the interpertation. There a couple versions of the story.

Weaver doesn’t give it shape, it locks it in to one shape. Wyld spirits are without a single set form, they are shapeshifter constantly morphing from one thing to the next, or they are living clouds of light and color in constant psychedelic movement. Weaver grabs one and lock it in to an instance, saying you are now a tree and a tree you will be forever. Or a sunset, or a lake. But it didn’t really create it. It just stopped it. Probably a contributing factor to its going insane.

Too much Weaver and you get a dead world, without the constant dynamic change and action of life, a world of plastic and steel and still air. Too much Wyld and the world breaks apart in to incoherent nonsense. The Wyrm kiils both till a balance is achieved.

The Mage explanation of the Triat phenomena is as Stasis, Dynamism & Entropy which almost exactly fits the Weaver, Wyld & Wyrm descriptions. The “Cosmic Balance” or the “Order of All Things” has been depicted throughout the many cultures of our planet from the very beginning. Examples include Hinduism..

The “Trimūrti” (/trɪˈmʊərti/; Sanskrit: त्रिमूर्तिः trimūrti, “three forms”)
This is the so-called Trinity of the supreme God in Hinduism in which the cosmic functions of Creation, Maintenance, and Destruction are personified as a triad of deities, typically Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer/Transformer though individual denominations may vary from that particular line-up. When all three deities of the Trimurti incarnate into a single avatar, the avatar is known as Dattatreya.

Some Tales tell it like this…
At the very beginning there was only the One… Somehow, no one knows how but somehow that One cracked and split open, becoming many.. Becoming infinite Chaos…
