Nicknames: Tartars, Wanderers

Disciplines: Animalism, Protean, Resilience

Clan Bane (The Exile Curse): The Anda Beast craves community with its people as much as it does blood. All Tartars must have at least one Touchstone who is also a blood relative (though this can be a fairly distant relation, within reason). If the Anda spends a number of nights equal to Humanity away from a blood-related Touchstone, she gains the Lethargic Condition, and cannot resolve it until she has a significant interaction with him again, even after taking a full day of rest.

Favored Attributes: Composure or Stamina

In V20DA these guys pretty much already have a Requiem style bane. I won’t reprint it here, but if you prefer, you could use that exactly as written. For 13 Licks (I guess that what we’re calling this now?), I changed it up because Touchstones are underused in my conversions, and I wanted to do something other than copy pasting. So I’m sort of breaking my rule about trying to stay as close as possible to the original, because you don’t really need me to convert the original. This bane is my interpretation of the Anda’s schtick: that is, keeping ties to the mortals they ride with out on the steppes, even as they’re permanently separated from the bulk of their people. It probably doesn’t work as well in a modern setting, all things considered, but I think it fits with the nomadic style of Mongol armies in a Dark Ages setting.

I considered switching Composure with Strength for their Favored Attributes, but the Anda are fairly close to the Gangrel baseline, archetypally.

This Gangrel bloodline stayed in Mongolia when the bulk of the Clan decided to move west. They lived among the Mongol horsemen, using special disciplines called Ma, but were destroyed by the Wan Kuei after the fall of the the Yuan Dynasty in China, by the end of 1388. Few women were ever embraced into this bloodline.
