Thank You’s: There are so many people who need thanking I’m not able to call out to them all but hopefully you know who you are. All those who wrote and contributed to the Books and Game Resources, White Wolf, Onyx Path, and especially all those on the forums who spend their time answering questions or coming up with their own custom, house rulings and IP.. you are all such a fantastic inspiration to others. A lot there are Freelance or regular writers for the books so their input is of the highest quality and indispensable. Very big Thank You’s to all but especially Reignhall, LostLight, Heavy Arms, NeoTiamat for their amazing Mara Bloodline and Nicor Disciplines, Nifara for her great take on some Bloodlines, Charlaquin, DreamingGod, Yossarian of great input everywhere….
A special thanks to Dave Brookside, aka DaveB for his great writings, both as a repeated contributor in official Books and for his renowned AP’s (Actual Plays) of his Campaigns on the RPGnet Forums.

Inspiration: Try the Storyteller Advice and Player Advice for some ideas plus books & films are great for extra ideas. Often, those who have seen or believe the Truth and want to alert those who remain blind to it will hide scraps of detail in works labelled as Fiction so it goes unnoticed by those responsible for keeping the Veil in place.

Rules System: We're mostly using the NWoD 1st Edition (New World of Darkness) System with tweaked House Rules and some 2nd Ed. additions in places, to try and even out any imbalances or to add a little extra darkness and pain. These custom extras may include rules or inspiration from CWoD (Classic World of Darkness) and the NWod 2.0 (Chronicles of Darkness) such as “Blood and Styx”. The Setting may & probably will change into whatever form it / you / decide we want it to become through our actions, interests and in the end, our fates.

Four supplements:
• Pandora’s Book: the Antagonists book, covering Pandorans, qashmallim, and Firestorms. Also gives an in-depth look at the Principle.
• Strange Alchemies: the Player’s Guide, providing more in-depth looks at each of the x- and y-splats.
• Magnum Opus, or “odds amd ends we would have liked to put in the core, but couldn’t either for thematic reasons or lack of space”. Constructs, Extempore, Dreamborn Prometheans, animal Prometheans, the Prodigal Demiurge, Scions, four more y-splats (i.e., Refinements), a more structured Pilgrimage, and advice on how to handle Milestones and Going to the Wastes.
• Saturnine Night: how to do Promethean as a sci-fi game; covering Demiurges, Nuclear Prometheans, and the Unfleshed.

*+City and Location Sourcebooks+ are available if needed for later on or madcap Global jaunts.. (Boston, Mexico, Japan, UK, Rome, Chicago, Transylvania and more…)

  • In-Game Books: These are in-character books that you might find in game. I have maybe half a dozen of these so far and you can consider all the contents to be "useful".. though not all of it may be reliable or true.

Books still needed: IMMORTALS, MIRRORS, INFERNO, tome of the mysteries, wraith, geist, ..

Later Chronicles

More Sourcebooks will be available when needed, and there's a lot of them. There is a chance to go deeper down those spooky Supernatural tunnels, months and years later I'd imagine. There's other WoD books for when the game expands and the characters need to know more.. do more etc.

For example: After months of fighting monsters in the dark, a character is approached and slowly introduced into a human society of what they call "Hunters" who are able to offer some resistance against the Darkness out there. Weeks of such stress and mental torture seems to have started a character off on a nightmarish journey when she sleeps, visions of strange and mystical objects calling out to her. Whispers echo through her head as the chaotic events continue.. Someone seems to have taken to following you.. perhaps even "stalking" might be a better word.. what do they want? Why not make a move, they obviously seem more than capable.. Why only after dark? Ice cold streaks of anxiety roll down your back whenever you sense this man creature close by.

Hunter: The Vigil fluff if that's the direction the game takes us.. then onwards.. into the ever-encroaching Darkness that seems so much blacker than death.
